British Graffiti: Mobstr vs. Newcastle City Council

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of public art, also known as “graffiti” by some. I would argue that there’s a huge difference between urban artists who use the medium of public streets and walls to create art, inspire conversation, and make a statement and the “graffiti” of gang tags prevalent in urban areas.

So check this out. British graffiti artist Mobstr used his art to have a conversation with the Newcastle City Council on this big pristine white wall. I’ll let the images speak to the conversation itself…
